yeah.. i know.. i been gone for a minute... wanted to take a break, and do some other things.. bloggin(well, at least here.. for, free).. wasnt one of them.. we'll discuss where i have/havent been, some other time.. as for now.. im gonna take this time to wish the family & friends of the late Teddy Pendergrass my condolences.. for alot of us- we grew up on "Teddy".. i cant think of how many times ive walked into a room.. a bar.. or, even just walkin through the hood, and heard Teddy Pendergrass playin.. him being one of my Moms favorite artists, def played into my knowing a good portion of his catalog.. but, its not like im "complaining".. dude was a genius.. so, this go around.. im gonna make my comeback, by not mourning the death.. but celebrating the genius, of one Teddy Pendergrass.. kick back.. if you want- roll something up.. and, whatever you do- dont get too excited and try to "rekindle" anything.. just, enjoy the music..

Throwback Thursdays: Native Tongues

lemme start off by saying- if you werent around to experience the early, to mid-90's hip-hop experience.. you lawst at life.. no slight to the early/mid-80's, til the end of that decade.. but truth be told, the 90's(especially. the early-mid 90's)- RAN sh!t.. the creativity throughout music, arts, technology, etc- cannot be matched to this date.. with that being said, on this edition of Throwback Thursdays, i bring to you some of my favorite cuts, from one of the most powerful collectives- Native tongues.. this crew not only had some of my favorite artists involved, but also dropped alot of everyones classic hip-hop tracks.. big shout out to my man Dante Ross, and the whole Native Tongue movement for being so inspirational in this thing we all call hip-hop.. jeah!

today, i think i got some of THE worst news ive gotten in a loooooooong time.. today- one of my(and, slot of peoples) favorite artist of ALL TIME passed away, due to a heart attack.. i, or anyone i know- just couldnt believe it.. i know this sounds stupid- but i was one of those guys that thought, MJ would NEVER die.. damn.. this is a sad day.. the man might have left us, but his music will last FOREVER.. R.I.P. MJ
